Bushborn began with a simple observation: the most beautiful timber in Australia was being thrown away. Reclaimed from local arborists across Brisbane, each eucalyptus piece is hand-finished to reveal the natural grain, bark, and character within. No two diffusers are alike — because no two trees are alike.

Before you buy

The usual questions.

How long does one bottle last?

Three to four months in a normal room. Flip the reeds every week or two to keep the scent strong — the more often you flip, the faster it goes.

What arrives in the box?

The crafted eucalyptus base, a 150ml bottle of fragrance in the scent you picked, and a set of 6mm rattan reeds sized to the base.

Will mine look like the photos?

Similar, but not exactly — and that's deliberate. Every base is cut from a different piece of reclaimed timber, so grain, bark and shape all vary. The size and finish are consistent; the character is not.

Can I refill it?

Yes. Refill bottles and replacement reeds are sold separately, so the timber base stays with you and only the fragrance gets replaced.
